Virtual present for a best friend

When a friend of yours is leaving your hometown / country, it feels like they are going to leave your life forever. Even when you still hear from them. Even when they do come back at times. I'm not sure if it's about the lack of communication or the fact that they are practically living a new life that it feels like they have left you.

Fact, in this case, I'm the one leaving, leaving someone that understand me the most until now. She is not only a friend, but she is my best friend. Sister from the other mom, people said.

Last 16th of March, she was celebrated her 18 birthday. Again, without me. Throwback to the high school time, when I went to her school, just wanted to say a happy birthday right in front of her, hugged and kissed her, not to forget giving the present, even the simplest one. But, the most important thing is, I was there. Now, because the miles away distance that we face, not even a Skype we do, only a simple sentence I could send to her.

This is the point I want to tell you, I missed saying 'happy birthday' to her right on her birthday. I did remember her birthday. Like, the day before her day, my mind always kept reminding me that tomorrow is her birthday. But I didn't know, why in all of a sudden, that day was just like the other ordinary days I faced in the dormitory. It sucks big time to be so faraway from your friends, especially on their birthdays.

I kept asking what had happened to me. I feel like losing me, losing her even more. It has been a year of my second year in college, and a year leaving her again, worst is, this 'a year' time, I could count with my fingers how many times did we communicate each other.

I apologize for being an absence-friend. I apologize for not saying anything on your birthday. But hey! I made something for you! Something that I have never done before in my whole life. I ever thought about this idea before, and now my very first 'something' is for you. Yes, you! :) I hope you like it, and forgive me, please... :'p Enjoy my @#$%^!^&*()_+ voice! :D

A really nice quote before I end this post ;)

“Close friends are truly life's treasures. Sometimes they know us better than we know ourselves. With gentle honesty, they are there to guide and support us, to share our laughter and our tears. Their presence reminds us that we are never really alone.” ― Vincent van Gogh

The feeling when you live far away from parents

I feel lost. Well, not really actually. I feel that I am missing someone. Yes, I miss my parents so much :(

I miss laughing and doing crazy things with them. They taught me a lot about lessons and values in life. From learning to stand up when I fall, to forgive and forget, to smile even when things go wrong, to differentiate between the good and the bad, to the small yet significant things like etiquette and attitude and so much more.

P.S: It has been 6 days since my father off to China and Hong Kong. I wonder what he's doing right now. I miss his voice already. Last time we talked when my mom called me in the morning to call my dad and said something to him before he left to the airport. He left me a message before he went there.

Guyssss, you bothhh, Y U SO NGANGENIN, EH? rawrrrr :* :*

your precious goldy daughter,
